But more than that,

in a season of my life when I am more convinced than ever that it is close to a miracle

when 2 people in a healthy, selfless relationship, choose each other forever--

I find such encouragement in watching Amanda and Blake live that out.

Another solid couple brought together. Praise him!

I have such respect that they would choose that—

that they would choose each other;

knowing up front that it’s not guaranteed to be easy;

knowing it requires giving of yourself for an ongoing length of time;

knowing that they can’t control their partners affection for them or response to them;

knowing that no 2 days are the same;

knowing that they personally are not perfect

…and yet still being willing to say ‘yes’ to forever with another person.

That is so close to a miracle, it must be one!
