reader.

Call me a "reader".

At least a "seasonal reader".

What can I say? I go through phases. Right now I'm in a reading phase. I welcome any suggestions for challenging or fun or thought-provoking or silly books.

Right now I'm reading a book by Euna Lee called "The World is Bigger Now" about her brief time of captivity in North Korea. She talks about what she saw in this extremely closed country and about how the Lord used her time in captivity to free her heart. I'm 120 pages in...and yes I bought it yesterday.

Maybe I should call myself a "seasonal introvert"...

I have also been reading a fiction book called "Look Again" about a mom who recognizes her adopted son's picture on a missing child card in the mail. A little far-fetched, but also entertaining and a good "read-while-I-work-out" book.

Last week I read the book "Heaven is for Real", the true story of Colton Burpo, a 4 year old who claims to have gone to heaven during a near death operation. I found his story convincing and in line with the Biblical description of heaven. It made me think...and long for time with Jesus in heaven.

Next on the agenda - "Chasing your Dragaon", "Shattered Dreams" and "Sarah's Key."

I'm liking this introvert season.
