I love school Valentines celebrations! I love the freedom to encourage one another. I love the excitement over mass amounts of sugar. I love the parents on campus pitching in to make the parties happen.

My day started off with no less than 15 hugs before I had even made it back to my room.

Then the buzz of Valentine cards to be passed out among the students.

Valentine crafts in the morning.
Valentine Parties in the afternoon.
Valentine dance in the evening.

It's silly, I know.

I was giddy just like my little kids.

My day was filled with lots of smiles. With little token gifts from little thoughtful kids. With precious notes that I adore from students that I adore.

Days like this remind me why I love my job.
