I kind of enjoy making new resolutions each year. You'd think my previous failures to accomplish certain goals would deter me from setting new annual goals. However, January 1st seems the perfect time to start fresh, to try this again. Especially this year 1-1-11...can't get much more new than that.
So some of my goals (in no particular order) --
1) Go on another trip with Angie.
2) More depth in my quiet times. Read Bible more consistently and study the Word more systematically. Be intentional in my time with Jesus.
3) Work out 3-5 mornings before work each week for the month of January (I know better than to say any longer than that)
4) Become more involved in the Village Church. Find an inlet to give back, rather than just attending.
5) Actually watch Harry Potter. This one hurts me to say, but for the sake of my friendships I know I need to.
6) Date more often - or at least have an open mind about new guys. I've been told I'm a bit "picky"...
7) Become more competent at driving the boat and pulling skiers.
8) Become more competent at driving period.
9) Watch less TV.
9) Play indoor soccer.
11) Figure out my job situation.
12) I should probably hide this one since I have already failed once, but...Run a half marathon
13) Read 30 books this year.
14) Welcome more accountability in my life.
15) Drink no morning coffee til spring break.
