On Wednesday it was 15 degrees. Fresh (though thin) snow blanket all around. Icy roadways. No way we'd have school.

Today, it was 70! No lie. 70 degrees and sunny!

So of course, Britt, Ronda and I took blankets to the trails and laid out by the ponds.

We talked. We laughed. We pretended to enjoy the little wet dog who kept climbing all over us. We even walked outside in flip flops.

It was fabulous. We'll take the sun any day!
