healer.

Today I caught myself singing Kari Jobe's song Healer. The lyrics go like this:

Do I believe that?

He HEALS.
He SATISFIES.
He is MORE than enough.

Years ago, this precious little girl, Tabitha, and her baby sister Mary Kay stayed with our family for about 9 months. Through an incredible series of events, we developed a strong relationship with their mother who became a believer while her daughters were in our home. We have watched them grow and, through a distance, shared in weddings, birthdays, and baptisms. They are a treasured piece of our lives.

Earlier this week, my mom called on her way to see them and pray for Tabitha, who is 10 years old and having some severe health needs. I had no idea she was so sick! She has gone from a happy, healthy, active little girl to a very sick, in a wheel chair, traveling to Scottish Rite Hospital 3 days a week for injections and IV's little girl.

Because I know that God IS a HEALER, I am praying for his healing in sweet Tabitha's life. Please pray too!

Time and again, God shows us through Scripture that HE HEALS. The lame walk. The blind see. The dead are raised. The bleeding ceases. He is a HEALER.
